Old people Online
The world’s populations are aging rapidly, but the Internet’s populations aren’t. Yet.
At this moment, almost 14% of the US population is 65 and over, but only 8.4% of the Internet population is. Does this make the online senior population less desireable? Not necessarily.
Consider that older people know what they are looking for, trust certain sources, and are now spending more wisely than ever before. Sure, they’re not entering contests to win an iPod Touch. They’re looking for information, value and connections to people they know and some they may want to meet. That might include a brand.
